Personality defects

12 December 2005 by kristarella

One Who Listens mentioned this personality test in his blog that points out why people hate you, rather than your more endearing qualities. This is what I got… Bitch-Slap You are 42% Rational, 28% Extroverted, 57% Brutal, and 28% Arrogant. You are the Bitch-Slap, the hallmark response of any abusive husband! You are more intuitive […]

Trying to kill the magic lion

12 December 2005 by kristarella

I read a newspaper article yesterday about how the liberal academics of America are condemning the new Narnia movie because of it’s Christian allegory. How stupid! It’s fine for the cinema to show any kind of evil slasher film, or Harry Potter which shows witchcraft (which some fundamentalists have been opposed to). Those things are […]

Karate grading

12 December 2005 by kristarella

Wooh… after not being at karate for one week my husband came home with a grading slip from the Sensei to send me to the last grading of the year. I was so sick; I hoped I would be better for Sunday. So, yesterday came along and at times I wasn’t sure I’d make the […]

This tree is possibly a descendant of the Paradise tree, which was used in the Paradise play, which was performed as a reminder of Adam and Eve’s fall from Eden and the promise that humans would one day […]

so tired…

7 December 2005 by kristarella

I’m so tired this afternoon. I nearly fell asleep at work sitting, watching the chemical I was dissolving. I suppose it’s not so surprising that I would fall asleep doing that, since it is akin to watching paint dry, but honestly it doesn’t take that long. Today is so hot! They say that this is […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
