Wooh… after not being at karate for one week my husband came home with a grading slip from the Sensei to send me to the last grading of the year. I was so sick; I hoped I would be better for Sunday.
So, yesterday came along and at times I wasn’t sure I’d make the distance; I started coughing uncontrollably, but stopped coughing and I made it through the class. I graded to 7th kyu, orange belt. Although I’d paid for my belt, they didn’t physically give me my new belt. That was a little disappointing. I’ll get it next year. Due to being tired from karate and having to get up at a reasonable hour after going to bed at an unreasonable hour I was able to go to sleep last night! I still slept pretty late though… until pretty much now.
