Yeh Baby!

1 March 2006 by kristarella

Overnight got me 8 bids (I think). Now I have 12! This is a good number. I like this system because it gets people to look at your blog, even if you don’t get accepted. So even if I don’t choose someone, I might still like them and keep visiting them. Speaking of which I’m […]

Goodness me!

28 February 2006 by kristarella

Oh gosh! Just as I’d convinced myself that my timetable was good and it was going to be a good semester of classes I got an email saying I’d been accepted to a course that I’d applied to do without having done the prerequisite. I’d spoken to the course co-ordinator last week and she said […]

So much time!

27 February 2006 by kristarella

I thought that going back to uni I wouldn’t have much time to blog. That probably will be the case later but today being the first day my french tutorial isn’t on because we haven’t had the lecture yet. So that’s two hours to fill, plus the two hour break after that. I’ve already filled […]

Study study study, makes you funny…

26 February 2006 by kristarella

Well, uni goes back tomorrow. I’ve always loved studying and learning things. I liked school where I got to learn and see my friends. Uni is a little different. My hubby liked uni for the same reasons that I liked school. I’m not looking forward to uni as much though. The holidays have been excellent […]

Sunday

26 February 2006 by kristarella

Well, it’s Sunday. Hubby is back. They actually got back early which I was a bit annoyed about. They go away to this conference which only extends over 24 hours and then there’s not enough boys going to hang out and go out to dinner to make it worth while so they drive the two […]

25 February 2006 by kristarella

I just finished watching Spellbound. It was pretty good. It wasn’t a very entertaining movie but it was well done. It introduces you to each child they are documenting in a way that makes you want each to win the national spelling bee for their own individual reasons. At the end (don’t worry I’m not […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
