Sunday

26 February 2006 by kristarella

Well, it’s Sunday. Hubby is back. They actually got back early which I was a bit annoyed about. They go away to this conference which only extends over 24 hours and then there’s not enough boys going to hang out and go out to dinner to make it worth while so they drive the two hours home. What a rort! (For them I mean.) Anyway I’m over that now. It’s nice to have him home. He’s sick though, last night he had to shove the ends of his hankie up his nose so he could read a book without dripping on it. I too have a runny nose now. I don’t know if it’s related.

I’ve had a bit of an upset tummy this morning but some peppermint tea seems to be doing it alot of good.

Hah! When I went to get petrol yesterday before dinner. The attendant guy asked me how my week was (or something like that), I was in an excellent mood so I replied “Good thanks!” with a big smile. Then I’m pretty sure he said to me “Lookin’ good.” I just smiled, not such a big one this time. It was one of those sliding statements that you’re left wondering “was that a pick-up attempt?” It was a little funny.

Hubby is still in bed at 11:40am! I never know if I’m supposed to wake him up at some point.

I think most of your post can be summed up as, “boys can be silly sometimes.”

I hope you feel better, with no runny nose and a not upset tummy.
