No Joining Fee

15 January 2007 by kristarella

It doesn’t mean that you can go to the gym for free 🙁 It means that you don’t have to pay the joining fee which is usually on top on the “package” prices. I was drawn in to Fernwood (women’s gym) because of this promotion. I have no idea what the package prices are. You […]

Tea and Sympathy

15 January 2007 by kristarella

Nope, not about Bernard Fanning; I didn’t even know his album was called that, I didn’t even know he and the lead singer of Powderfinger were the same guy until I saw a video clip and said “Hey, you know he looks like…” Do you know that song Tea and Sympathy by Jars of Clay? […]

Silvo

14 January 2007 by kristarella

Last night was Silvo’s 21st birthday party. He was a friend from school, one of my good friends in year nine. I love seeing everyone again at all these birthday parties. It gives me a sense of belonging and love. It seems like it doesn’t really matter what happens, I’ll always have school in common […]

Crapheads

Has anyone noticed the spambots upping the ante? A lot more spam has been making it through my filters, causing me to make my settings more stringent, at the risk of blocking out real commenters. I’m also subscribed to a couple of comment threads elsewhere that have been getting spam that comes through on the […]

13 January 2007 by kristarella

Hearts

12 January 2007 by kristarella

Mainly I learnt about blurring edges and clipping objects. I like the clipping objects one, you can make a pattern or […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
