There’s been an ad campaign in NSW against speeding. The catch phrase is “No one thinks big of you.” In the ads the people wiggle their pinkie finger. I have no idea if my brother’s assignment has anything to do with that, but I was proud of his movie making efforts…

I didn’t notice until a lecturer pointed it out this week Gattaca, the name of the movie, is a combination of the four DNA bases GATC. Clever! We’ve been watching Battlestar Galactica, and apparently we’re teaching the machines, in fact the machines are us.
