Wooooot! Saturday!

13 May 2006 by kristarella

I don’t know if I can effectively express how happy I am that it’s the weekend, namely Saturday. Having to go to uni or work every day of the week really makes a difference to the value of weekends. Please visit my renter, Matt. He’s starting a meme for Fridays called Dedication Friday. The idea […]

10 May 2006 by kristarella

In the lecture we were looking at Quantitative Trait Loci, places on chromosomes that have genes which cause something that you can measure. For example height, foot size or number of ridges on fingerprints, but not things that are just yes or no, like your ear lobes being attached or not – mine are not. […]

Stupid Blogger!

10 May 2006 by kristarella

I’m very glad I have my own account/server/wordpress blog. The reason I left Blogger (or one of) was because it kept crashing and was going totally spaz. It seems to be down tonight because I can’t leave comments on two of my favourite blogs, both on Blogger. Don’t get me wrong, blogger is a good […]

What is the go?

9 May 2006 by kristarella

Okay, my computer is being damn annoying! Firefox won’t match my Windows theme anymore so it has a butt ugly title bar that sometimes isn’t there at all. Secondly, the sound doesn’t work. Sometimes it does, at the times when I’m going to be using the computer for five minutes and I don’t care if […]

Genetics update

8 May 2006 by kristarella

I’m still not loving genetics. However, all is not lost. I spent a couple of hours in the BABS computer lab and a couple of people in my class were also there. They’d done even less than I had on the assignment! Anyway, they got the lecturer to come done and help us. He gave […]

I’ve been doing Thursday Thirteens for a couple of months now. You might have noticed. Anyway, I never knew about the hub, thursdaythirteen.com! I can hardly believe I didn’t know about this, that’s what someone mean when they said they didn’t see me on the blogroll. I’ll join it soon. There are gremlins in my […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
