Genetics update

8 May 2006 by kristarella

I’m still not loving genetics. However, all is not lost. I spent a couple of hours in the BABS computer lab and a couple of people in my class were also there. They’d done even less than I had on the assignment! Anyway, they got the lecturer to come done and help us. He gave us an extension until the end of the week since he is busy marking our exams and on the assignment sheet it actually says due at the end of the week. If I get it finished today it will be a load off, so I’ll try but I won’t lose sleep trying. It turned out that my results were wrong, which is why they made no sense. I had to change the input files and now everything has worked and I just have to interpret the results and write it all. I hope I pass this course!

I hated genetics. I feel your pain.
