18 April 2007 by kristarella

I didn’t notice until a lecturer pointed it out this week Gattaca, the name of the movie, is a combination of the four DNA bases GATC. Clever! We’ve been watching Battlestar Galactica, and apparently we’re teaching the machines, in fact the machines are us.

Jeepers, I’m shtoopid! I forgot my lab coat this morning and I was only half-way to the station so I went back home to get it. I realised in class that I didn’t need it today because we were doing a computer lab! I was a bit out of it yesterday as well; I realised […]

Birthday Party

17 April 2007 by kristarella

Woah! What a weekend! I headed up to Mum’s on the 8:50am train to Warnevale on Friday morning. We cooked and prepared things all day. Being the chefs of the hour we did manage to make ourselves some yummy lunch of ham, cheese and parsley quiches and panckakes with spinach dip, topped with cheese. Delicious! […]

Not so big 21

11 April 2007 by kristarella

WebCT + Proteins = crap

9 April 2007 by kristarella

Articles

6 April 2007 by kristarella

I picked up a couple of copies of the Southern Cross paper at church a while ago, they looked to have articles that I was interested in – blogging, Intelligent Design and Heroes. True to my style they have been sitting on my desk at home while other papers got stacked on top of them. […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
