My life & thoughts

under the weather

14 December 2005 by kristarella

I’m feeling a little under the weather this morning; I wonder if it’s from being under the sun yesterday. I went to the beach with my friend and the weather was perfect. I love Australian beaches – not that I’ve been to any others, but I’ve seen photos of some that are just not as […]

This is what I got… Bitch-Slap You are 42% Rational, 28% Extroverted, 57% Brutal, and 28% Arrogant. You are the Bitch-Slap, the hallmark response of any abusive husband! You are more intuitive […]

Karate grading

12 December 2005 by kristarella

Wooh… after not being at karate for one week my husband came home with a grading slip from the Sensei to send me to the last grading of the year. I was so sick; I hoped I would be better for Sunday. So, yesterday came along and at times I wasn’t sure I’d make the […]

7 December 2005 by kristarella

I’m so tired this afternoon. I nearly fell asleep at work sitting, watching the chemical I was dissolving. I suppose it’s not so surprising that I would fall asleep doing that, since it is akin to watching paint dry, but honestly it doesn’t take that long. Today is so hot! They say that this is […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
