Time after time

14 February 2006 by kristarella

Has anyone heard the remake of Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper (who originally sung the song) and Sarah McLachlan? I heard it on the radio today and I can’t decide how I feel about it. Lauper’s voice is getting to sound like she’s been smoking too many cigarettes, but it still sounds good, it’s […]

Wedding Anniversary

13 February 2006 by kristarella

It was our first wedding anniversary yesterday (12th Feb). It was a good day. We went on a picnic to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney. It was nice, with a breeze and a view of the harbour. We had a really tiny budget on pressies. We had to do something creative with paper, since […]

When song words go wrong…

13 February 2006 by kristarella

I wrote this post a little while ago, which included examples of misunderstood song words. My cuz then left a comment that told a story about how when she was little she adamantly believed that Disney ended with a silent P… can you blame her? I also wanted to share that a guy we know […]

Song of the week!

13 February 2006 by kristarella

12 February 2006 by kristarella

Hair!

10 February 2006 by kristarella

Woo hoo! I got my hair cut. I love it! My salon experience was totally awesome too! I went to a new place in Hornsby called The Sanctuary. They have good music (fairly loud but still good), the chair that you sit in to get your hair washed is electric and it leans back and […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
