Gmail is USUALLY so cool

24 February 2006 by kristarella

Last night I couldn’t access gmail at all. I thought “This is crap!” but I also thought “Hmmm, maybe they are finally updating my account so that I, a faithful user for about a year and a half now, finally has those cool new things like assigning contact groups and having google chat right there […]

Is BE dumb?

24 February 2006 by kristarella

Is it just that BE has a small pool of customers? It doesn’t seem that way most of the time. I keep running into the same people in the surf blogs thing. I guess it’s cos they assign alot of credits to their blog? I don’t really understand how it works yet. I even get […]

Johari Window

23 February 2006 by kristarella

On Janet’s blog, for Tell It To Me Tuesday she had a Johari Window – I’m not entirely sure what this is apart from it’s named after its inventors Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham. Supposedly it’s about awareness – but I think Janet is more correct in saying it’s about perception and misconception. I thought […]

Rockin’ the Casbar

23 February 2006 by kristarella

Julie and Julia

23 February 2006 by kristarella

Anita wrote a review of this book, Julie & Julia: 365 days, 524 recipes, 1 tiny apartment kitchen on her book blog. Now I really want to read it. You can read an excerpt of it on Amazon, it seems like just the kind of book I would really enjoy. A nice relief from the […]

23 February 2006 by kristarella

Don’t forget to visit my renter at My Bipolar Life! I was popped into internet explorer to see what my blog looks like in that. Apparently IE can’t handle transparency in .png images so instead of having a swanky gradient thing blending into the blue background on the sides of my set up there is […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
