Gmail

22 March 2006 by kristarella

It turns out that I had all the new features in Gmail but they don’t work in UK English. My hubby just told me to change it to US English so I did and now I have all the features. I’m less excited about this than I could have been because I think it is […]

22 March 2006 by kristarella

Janet pointed us to this site – My Heritage which has a face recognition tool. It’s sort of clever and sort of funny. You load a photo of yourself into the database and it shows you which famous persons you look like. I submitted a photo of myself which is not great but does look […]

Haiku for City Rail

22 March 2006 by kristarella

Oh, how I hate trains! Unreliable machines, great incompetence. I’ve been late everyday this week. I know it sounds like I should catch an earlier train but I really shouldn’t need to. I’m already shattered from sleepiness and it is. The train that I catch should make it on time and has done before. Last […]

The dog is fetishly poodle

21 March 2006 by kristarella

Today as I was listening to Natalie Merchant I realised that it was possibly Carnival, the second song on the album, that I really like. Jealousy does catch my attention as I said though. My nose is terrible. It has been running really badly, it must be trying to escape my face, I don’t know […]

Song of the Week

20 March 2006 by kristarella

As I’ve already mentioned. I bought a Natalie Merchant CD. It’s called Retrospective 1995-2005. It’s sort of like a best of. It’s really good! Some of it is very relaxing and some a little more driven. She has an excellent and unusual voice. So far the song that has most caught my attention on this […]

Jeans

20 March 2006 by kristarella

Why is it that so many boys where their jeans hanging around their bottom? It used to be that they were baggy and hang off their bottom but today I saw a boy with quite tight jeans and the “waist” of them was around his bottom. I know girls have a habit of showing undies […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
