Priorities

3 November 2006 by kristarella

I think I have a problem with priorities. I was supposed to write the bible study for youth group tonight, which I’ve now done, but I should have written it weeks ago so that everyone could have a look at it before hand. Time just slipped away so quickly. Writing it took first priority this […]

No longer a woman’s job?

1 November 2006 by kristarella

It may be that within five years there is a male contraceptive pill/implant with no side effects! I was pretty sceptical when I read that as well but who knows, maybe it’s possible. The active ingredient of this possible wonder-drug is adherin, which binds to sertoli cells in the testes, preventing the attachment of them […]

Oopsies

1 November 2006 by kristarella

My web server people were updating their stuff yesterday and my blog was down for a while. I was quite worried because it couldn’t access my MySQL database but the message I got was that it couldn’t do that or there was something wrong with wp-config and I thought I’d broken my site. It wasn’t […]

Woman driver

31 October 2006 by kristarella

30 October 2006 by kristarella

Shmiday

27 October 2006 by kristarella

End of the week. We went to bed at a reasonable hour last night! I think it was just sheer exhaustion. I couldn’t even be bothered to cook so we got pizza 🙂 It wasn’t so much the cooking that was my problem but just the being in the kitchen. It’s so gross! The pile […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
