Blistex

21 March 2007 by kristarella

I just love Blistex! I’ve used the tub one, another one that doesn’t even seem to be on the website – a purple tube and tonight I bought the Lip Infusion Moisture Splash. It’s glossy and moisturising and it has a metal roll on ball that’s all cold on your lips. I like it! What […]

So far so good

21 March 2007 by kristarella

Today is going okay so far. The washer got fixed yesterday – less than 10% cost of a new one so that's a relief. Also nice to have some clean clothes and underwear. Bible study last night was cool. It was really challenging – the bit about the tongue and how it's difficult to control […]

Teeth

20 March 2007 by kristarella

I was told tonight that I have nice teeth. Along with the compliment was a quick “I’d never noticed, but yeah…” Perhaps that’s a hint to me (not from that person, but just in general) that I should smile more 😀

Bummerrrrrrrrrr

19 March 2007 by kristarella

I found out this afternoon that my birthday invites were going to take 5-7 days to be printed. I thought they were going to be done today but apparently that was just the proof 🙁 So I took them to the photo place. Not as nice but they’re done and I can start inviting people. […]

Cookie crumbled

18 March 2007 by kristarella

Our washing machine broke… they’re expensive to buy! At least my Pop gave us this one, we can probably afford one more now than we could when we first got married. It wasn’t new so it’s probably had a good life-span. The Vestry meeting was slightly tumultuous. I’m sure it’s been worse. I’ve mentioned before […]

Satisfying!

17 March 2007 by kristarella

Today was a very satisfying day. It was much better than yesterday, which was extremely up and down and ended on a down. Yesterday I had to wake up really early , I had Microbial Genetics lab and tutorial  (I am seriously loving this subject!), I had to go to work , I came […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).

A little book I made from Bunnings paint sample ca A little book I made from Bunnings paint sample cards. It’s going to be for mini paintings and collages. Sometimes it’s nice to start with a colour rather than a blank white page!
