Fractal software for Mac

10 August 2007 by kristarella

While doing a bit of cruising through deviantART I decided that I wanted to try out some fractal art. I don’t really know much about it, but I do know two more things than I did before. That is: 1. Xaos is a free (under GNU licence) fractal zoomer. At first I didn’t install it […]

8 August 2007 by kristarella

I just finished my latest graphic project. It was good fun! Looking at it I’m still not 100% sure that it’s complete, but I always over do things and then ruin them, so I’ll leave it for now.

Summertime: my very short film

12 July 2007 by kristarella

I made a small film using Inkscape and iMovie last week. The only method I could find to share it was YouTube, which seems to have reduced the size and quality. All the same, here it is:

Andy Warhol’s Marilyns

6 July 2007 by kristarella

12 June 2007 by kristarella

The most random thing is that it’s not Monday at all. It’s Tuesday, but it feels like Monday because yesterday was a public holiday. It means that I have one less day before my first exam on Friday and I’m more reluctant to go to work because I really want to study so that I […]

23 May 2007 by kristarella

Things have been fairly busy and to be honest I didn’t think the world wanted to know every mundane detail of my life, so I didn’t have something particularly interesting to say. This morning was rather sad. I spent most of the morning trying to use several different […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
