Replacing Smultron icons

5 July 2008 by kristarella

Smultron is my text editor of choice. It’s easy to use and has some nifty features that after 18 months of use, I’m only just starting to use. I think it’s the best, free text editor for Mac OS X, and probably even surpasses some not free ones as well. There’s probably some sweet improvements […]

28 June 2008 by kristarella

I can’t believe Saturday is almost over! Nan update On Friday Gran, Mum and I visited Nan (the grandma I mentioned before, who has cancer). I think we were expecting her to be awake, not feeling so great, possibly in bed, but capable of getting up and around. It was quite a shock when we […]

iLT Wallpaper

7 June 2008 by kristarella

Making Goals and Making Graphics

30 May 2008 by kristarella

Previous goal: “Write Proteorhodopsin essay.” Todays goal: “Read at least 3 papers and write at least 2 pages of essay.” That […]

The Art of Favicons

28 May 2008 by kristarella

From the title one might think that I have something insightful to say about the art of making a favicon (the little shortcut icon that shows up in your browser’s address bar, on tabs and in bookmark lists). Really, I just want to say two things. First thing about favicons They’re damn cool: they make […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
