22 September 2006 by kristarella

Not the TV show. I used to quite enjoy the television show. Although the vibe of the TV show is quite similar to the vibe of a real emergency room. There aren’t enough beds, patients are freaking out because they feel so sick while they wait an hour for actual doctor attention. I took a […]

Big, huge, titanic disaster

20 September 2006 by kristarella

We were discussing random things over morning tea at work and somehow got onto the topic of the Titanic. I believe the conversation went something like Is the whether going to stay warm like this? > I heard some women yesterday saying it was too hot, if they though yesterday was too hot they’d better […]

Pixelgirl

19 September 2006 by kristarella

This site is totally cool! Pixelgirl Presents has a fantastic collection of desktops by different artists and designers. There are also crazy icon packages available for windows, mac OS and an “icon container” is available as well, which I assume is just the icons themselves. I’ve made a note of some of my favourites from […]

High end spam

18 September 2006 by kristarella

Spam is getting high-tech and intricate. Not only selling things but using it to commit fraud. Although it’s not new, apparently the kind of spam I’ve been getting recently has been going on for decades. It’s known as the 4-1-9 scam. I’ve only gotten three emails to this effect, so it’s not that many, but […]

17 September 2006 by kristarella

Oh my goodness. I’m finally finished all the Thursday Thirteens that were linked from my post. That took a while. This weekend has been quite successful. We didn’t have to do other stuff so we managed to do a few things around home. We de-moulded our bedroom ceiling. In the corners where the light doesn’t […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
