Oh my goodness. I’m finally finished all the Thursday Thirteens that were linked from my post. That took a while.
This weekend has been quite successful. We didn’t have to do other stuff so we managed to do a few things around home. We de-moulded our bedroom ceiling. In the corners where the light doesn’t get to much there was some mould action and we did a quarter of the study ceiling. It must have water damage from upstairs or something because the whole study ceiling is spotty (except for the quarter which now isn’t). I just finished cleaning the bathroom. I always clean the shower and then take a shower but I never come out feeling quite clean, like I still have some of the bathroom ick on me. I look forward to a day when the make self-cleaning bathrooms in homes… or the day I can afford a maid 🙂
I’m feeling a bit bummed. Don’t know why. I’m hoping that hubby will take me out for a Chai latte and to buy some ramekins so that I can make creme brulee.

I did get my chai latte! Except it was a bit rude they brought hubby his flat white and forgot to make my drink, I had to go and and ask for it again. They weren’t even busy, they were literally standing around. Oh well, it was good because hubby didn’t put on his grumpy pants like he usually does when we go to the shopping centre.
On the weekends I always feel like I get nothing done, other than laundry, cleaning and all this boring stuff. Was at work and went to elections today. Boooooring. I envy you for the feeling of getting stuff done. I have a whole lot of cleaning to do today. *yuck*
I know! The cleaning never ends. I usually don’t get as much done, last weekend we were stressing because we had the whole weekend full of other people’s stuff.
I had the kitchen all beautiful yesterday after making creme brulee and then what? We have dinner and I need to clean it again!
sorry you were bummed! At least your wish came true with the Chai Latte. I always have got intentions during the weekend but never get it done as other plans come up – still have to clean the garage up, do some painting etc. grumpy pants! i think I have a few of those with matching grumpy shirts.
