Waa waa waa

18 October 2006 by kristarella

I should be at karate right now but I was afraid of doing something horrible to may back. It doesn’t seem to be the kind of pain that you can stretch out. My unit seems to be infested with little moths. I don’t know what they are or where they came from. I only see […]

Age has nothing to do with it

18 October 2006 by kristarella

Argh, something is wrong with my back. I can’t twist it, I have to try staying straight but then I get tense and uncomfortable. I don’t know what it is, a muscle or a disc, it seems to be quite distinctly on my right side. ~ What is up with short skirts and leggings? I’ve […]

Cyberworld

17 October 2006 by kristarella

This guy, David Storey, works (when he leaves the basement) with my husband, they were in the same office until the computer science people moved buildings. There was a bit of talk when he bought the virtual island on Planet Calypso in Entropia Universe. I wondered where he got the money as a PhD student […]

Foogoogled

14 October 2006 by kristarella

Okay so I’m really just relaying something I read on The Foo Logs but these things are cool and I had to mention them. Google has a new pinging service that seems to be quite effective. Scanning on KDE

14 October 2006 by kristarella

My li’l bro just asked me to scan him a page in my kids cookbook. The same page he’s been stealing the book from me for years for and the same page I asked mum to bring it back for me. The chunky chocolate cookies are excellent! I’ve stuck to the recipe and I’ve made […]

Unfreakin’believable!

14 October 2006 by kristarella

I got 164 spam comments on my photoblog… overnight! All from the same three names and many of them saying the exact same thing. Before that I’d only gotten two which I deleted last night. Did they know I was back and just doing it to piss me off? Well it didn’t work, mostly I’m […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).

A little book I made from Bunnings paint sample ca A little book I made from Bunnings paint sample cards. It’s going to be for mini paintings and collages. Sometimes it’s nice to start with a colour rather than a blank white page!
