They hate me

25 October 2006 by kristarella

Technology seems to hate me. I was getting mega spam on my photoblog so I tried to implement an anti-spam thing but it didn’t work; I got spam but couldn’t get any other comment . I tried a different anti-spam thing, which I thought was working but actually I can’t get comments at all. I […]

This computer makes me nuts

24 October 2006 by kristarella

It just ate my post that I was writing. Grrr. Other “grrr”s today include my arm hurts from something at karate last night. There are heaps of tail tips for me to extract DNA from and genotype because the people who keep our mice apparently have been breeding them (I thought they weren’t) but they […]

CUPS and Gutenprint

21 October 2006 by kristarella

We bought new ink for the printer today so I decided it would be a good idea to have another crack at installing the printer on Kubuntu. 20 October 2006 by kristarella

I keep hearing about how Australia has a “skills shortage”. I think this means that there aren’t enough people ready-trained in jobs. Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
