Goodness me…

30 March 2007 by kristarella

It seems never ending. Life just goes on and goes crazy. I suppose that’s what it’s supposed to do is it? I’m getting tonight off to do things that I want to do and chill, but it’s not enough. Hubby walked out the door asking me to tidy up and put some dishes and water bottles away – it’s all fair enough and I’m perfectly happy to put away things in the kitchen. Things in the living room I’m not as happy to put away because I still have a box of things from when I cleaned out Mum and Dad’s place of my things, I’m not sure what all the things are in there and I think they need quite a lot of sorting out (for example a whole bag full of photos).

I got my hair cut today, and my legs waxed. I felt guilty because my appointment was at 4 but the hair took an hour so the girl had to stay back a bit to do my legs. While I was in the shopping centre there was someone doing free make-overs and asked if I wanted one so I thought, “What the hey…”. I liked what she did with foundation and shadows but I hated the mascara, it kept blinking off under my eyes and making them all shadowy. It was nice to not look like the walking dead for a while though. I’ve had dark circles under my eyes for a couple of weeks now.

Tonight I hope to put away dishes, go through photos, dye my hair – even though it’s all nice from the hair dresser doing it, I need a shower because I’m covered in bits of hair. Not in that order.

Tomorrow is my father-in-law’s wedding and Monday is passover. Thank goodness the only assignment due next week is two-thirds done!

I got 21st birthday wishes from Phillip Ruddock our federal MP…

Wow…wishes from Phillip Ruddock! That’s pretty cool, I got nothing from Ken Ticehurst, though, admittedly, my 21st isn’t for another 5 years…

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
