Scottish

David Tenant, who plays Dr Who in the 2006 and 2007 seasons, is Scottish. If you’ve seen the video diaries that the actors do you’ll notice his accent is a bit different naturally than when filming as Dr Who. We’ve been watching the new Dr Who seasons again recently and in the clips for the next episode I noticed he sounded decidedly Scottish. I thought he’d slipped but then when we got to the episode (Tooth and Claw) it turned out that they landed in Scotland so he decided to do a Scottish accent. Then later in the episode he “slips” into a British accent and confuses Queen Victoria. Funny stuff!
