Beaching

29 January 2007 by kristarella

I went to the beach with my friends this morning. Possibly the first time this summer. It was great, the weather was perfect. Alas, it seems I’m not capable of applying sunscreen evenly.

burnt leg

The front of my leg isn’t burnt, there’s just a rectangular burnt patch with a white circle in the middle. I think the backs of my legs might be cooked a bit too. I reapplied my sunscreen but I suppose it wasn’t as liberally applied as the first time – it’s not easy once you’re covered in sand and sea water.

    Interesting blog!

We’d love to have the chance to review it on our new site!

We’re looking for bloggers willing to be our first!

Ouch. You have my sympathy. Keep it moisturised (especially with aloe vera) and hope it doesn’t start to peal.

BTW, I don’t nkow if anyone else has this problem or if its just me, but I can see that people have commented on your posts and who those people are, but I can’t actually read their comments. I just see blank comment boxes with the person’s name in them. Also, when I post a comment on your blog I get an error message.

Yep, other people have had that problem with the blank comments. It seemed to happen all of a sudden and then I think it went away, so I forgot about it.
I too get an error message when I post a comment from work, but not from home. To be honest I think it’s a fault somewhere in the system that gets the error rather than this site. It could be this site but I really don’t know where to look for the problem, let alone how to fix it.
Thanks for letting me know, I’ll try to look in the code to see if there’s a fault.

Here we go, testing again, this box doesn’t need to be this big.

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
