One thing I forgot to mention in my Thursday Thirteen (when rewriting it after Firefox crashed and lost my post) is that you should look where you want to go, actually turn your head in the direction. If you’re going around a corner actually turn your head to see what’s happening around the corner and if you need to swerve around something to avoid hitting it then don’t look at the thing you think you’ll hit, look at your escape route otherwise you’ll probably hit the thing.
