Skanky weather

22 November 2006 by kristarella

Today’s weather was skanky! It wasn’t one of those postcard blue skies, random cloud, beach-worthy warm Sydney. It was 38 degrees Celsius (that’s 100.4 F), the sky was a kind of greyer shade of brown. It was gross. Thankfully, being only Spring, the air-con in the lab hasn’t died yet so it was quite comfortable inside. It was like a wall of heat walking out of the hospital though. Nasty!

Hmmm…yes, the weather is very kookie!
I managed to get a few good shots of the sunset with it being made orange through the haze and smoke from the Blue Mountains fires!!! Even the C.C is getting the smoke…and ash!!

Cool! I wanted to get a photo of the crazy clouds and orange sun but did not get a chance… maybe tomorrow.

Ooh, I have a cold. At least here in the northern hemisphere I don’t have the dreaded summer cold.

I just got over a cold. My nose and throat are still recovering, thankfully my ears are not blocked anymore. It was a bit gross, I think all viruses are bad, summer or winter.
