What is PCR? I’m guessing it isn’t Polymerase Chain Reaction, but I don’t know what it actually is.

It is Polymerase Chain Reaction! I work in a science lab 🙂 Essentially it’s amplifying a tiny piece of DNA into millions of copies by using the same mechanism cells use to replicate DNA for cell division. I can’t see it on my computer because flash and linux are not friends but apparently this gives you a nice cell overview.
