Thanks for renting here Mad Secretary, and thankyou those that visited her!

I’m renting at Fembat Unhinged this week. I like her blog, you should check her out.

I got a new keyboard on Saturday! It great. It’s sooo clean and much softer and far less noisy. It was only $10 down from $20! It’s not wireless, but for my desk setup that’s fine, I have it on one of those pull out drawers. I’m still getting used to it, I make a few mistakes, then again I was making alot of mistakes on my old keyboard as well. The problem is different now, like I miss keys or don’t hit them hard enough, where as before it was like I was dislexic, letters in all the wrong places!

Can you believe it?It turns out that one of hubby’s pet peeves is when people say to a crowd “Hi, my name is [name] for those of you who don’t know me.” It’s the ‘for those of you who don’t know me’ bit that really gets him. What are those of us who do know you suppposed to call you then? Is your name only for those who are new to you? His all time peeve is misapostrophication. I especially hate it on signs. You’d think that if people were going to spend money and go to the trouble of printing a sign, they’d at least make sure it was correct! On the other hand, why don’t sign printers know correct grammar?! Or how about this picture, imagine something tattooed on your person until you die and rot away and it’s wrong!

I got a free hair treatment today for my birthday from the great salon I got my hair cut at. I ‘m not sure what the treatment was supposed to do, or if it has done anything, but it was at least good for a head massage and having my head under a rotating heater thing for about 20 minutes.
