Hair!

10 February 2006 by kristarella

Woo hoo!

I got my hair cut.

I love it!

My salon experience was totally awesome too! I went to a new place in Hornsby called The Sanctuary. They have good music (fairly loud but still good), the chair that you sit in to get your hair washed is electric and it leans back and puts your feet up and… wait for it… it vibrates! It has a massage vibrating type system that goes across your legs and back! Totally cool right? Then she (Maddie) started to cut my hair while someone made me a cappucino (on the house!) and brought it over. It was good coffee too! Yes, there is a risk of getting hair in your coffee but thankfully none of my hair got in there. When my hair was cut she blow-dryed it straight. It’s the first time I’ve immediately loved my new hair style. The price ($60 – alot less than some pay) is totally worth it.

After my haircut I went to David Jones to find a hair dryer because I don’t have one (except a little one at my folks place) and I think I will need one to keep my fringe nice after washing my hair. DJs had a small selection so I went to Myer which had a really good selection. After staring at them for ages while talking to my Mom on the phone, I decided on a Breville one that is 2200W and was tagged $39.95; in comparison that was really good because there were other that were 1800-2000W that were twice the price – they are probably quieter. Also some of the money from the Breville hair dryers go to the Beast Cancer Foundation! So I asked the shop guy’s advice and he said that one was alright and then they didn’t have any. So he sold me the one on the shelf with 10% discount and it also ended up coming with rollers and two round brushes!

This is me yesterday and me today…

    Sexy momma!

You look different from the front than the side, as you do it the pic on your profile.

    I love the new hair!!!

I just got mine done too, and it’s fab. People often ask what I’d do if I were a millionaire-my first choice is to pay someone to do my hair everyday.

Yeh, it’s totally cool – having someone do your hair – this girl was really good, didn’t pull my scalp or anything, before I knew what was going on my hair was cut and styled!

Nice haircut! Hang onto your stylist, good ones are hard to find. I appreciate you dropping by to play Scruples!

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
