Firefox on Mac

1 February 2006 by kristarella

Can someone please tell me why I can’t install the most recent version of Firefox? I’ve downloaded the firefox1.5.dmg file and this computer is running on Mac OS X 10.2 and the file just won’t “mount”, it’s error 95 supposedly. This is a computer at work, I have PC at home, not that I’m against Macs it’s just PC was cheaper (and I’m more accustomed to it).

I’d like to make it clear that I’m not an update junky, I do believe (most of the time) that if it isn’t broken one does not need to fix it. Unfortunately every now and again (about five times today) I can’t type into firefox anymore; not to google, not to comments, nothing and I have to shut it down and start it again.

Maybe I should just get Safari.

I would like to help you but I have never even touched a Mac.
