Today might almost have been the perfect day – as perfect as any ordinary day gets. I had a nice relaxing day, tapping away on my computer, saw my best friend for a coffee and cake and shopping, went to karate, had perfectly cooked steak (by my hubby!) for dinner, watched a little bit of TV and have all the dishes done! This is an excellent moment! It is however accompanied by a stench that is coming from either me or my clothing which has been worn to karate two days in a row. I therefore must quickly de-clothe and shower before bed. Goodnight!

Sometimes those perfectly ordinary days are simply the best.
My children are out of school this week so my day was far from ordinary. Fun, but of course we had to do something, and the something was see The Pink Panther. Which while very amusing kinda counts on the slapstick humor that little boys love and mature women abhor.
I had no idea that the pink panther was that kind of humour! I thought it was a little more film noir.
