My life & thoughts

Yesterday

20 February 2006 by kristarella

At about 6pm yesterday I had visions of writing a post that went something along the lines of “Today was an excellent day! Like most excellent days it started off horribly…” in the end though it was a pretty average day. It started horribly as I was angry and emotionally stretched out due to barely […]

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y

18 February 2006 by kristarella

Woo hoo! It’s Saturday! Which means that it’s not Sunday – it felt like a Sunday because I had Yum Cha lunch with my family (Happy Birthday Dad!) and we normally do such a thing on Sundays. Since I realised it’s Saturday I have the Bay City Rollers in my head… “Ess ay tee you […]

Mmm, muffins

17 February 2006 by kristarella

73% of download completed! Mmm, I just made muffins. It was a recipe for blueberry muffins but instead of blueberries I put black cherries and chocolate chips – an idea I actually borrowed from Elsa who made such a thing for our bible study group on Wednesday night. I made them in cupcake-patty pan type […]

Ugh!

17 February 2006 by kristarella

Chai lattes

16 February 2006 by kristarella

Have you ever had a chai latte? Oooh, they can be sooo good. I did order one from Brewhaha that was so appaling, I couldn’t drink it. Every time I go to Sado in Hornsby I get the greatest vanilla chai ever! It’s so frothy and creamy and yummy! I was feeling really tired and […]

People flocked to be blessed by a calf that was born with folds in its skin saying “There is no God but Allah”; this calf is supposedly God’s response to some blasphemous cartoons. This article reminded me of a time in fourth grade at primary school […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
