My life & thoughts

Ah, the weekend

25 February 2006 by kristarella

I slept too late to go to my parent’s place for lunch. It’s nearly lunch time already! When I went to bed I read some more of Narnia and listened to my iPod a bit to combat the quiet (usually I’ve got hubby’s breathing next to me) until I was literally drifting off. That worked […]

Still up!

25 February 2006 by kristarella

Heh, I’m still awake. It’s quarter to four in the morning. My hubby will probably disapprove when he gets home but I intend to sleep in tomorrow and have an excellent day! I don’t know what I’m doing but that’s okay. I sort of have this urge to go have lunch with my family. I […]

Who cares if it’s raining or pouring? It all comes from the same place.

25 February 2006 by kristarella

This sucks! I was going to come in, write a quick post and go to bed. I was driving home and looked at the clock; 1:24, “Hmmm,” I thought to myself, “I haven’t been home this late in a while.” Hubby is away until tomorrow night – it’s the first night he’s been away and […]

What type of candy are you?

24 February 2006 by kristarella

Blogthings is a cool place to go sometimes, it gets old kind of quickly but I did have quiz results for “What age will you die at?” down the bottom of my sidebar. I thought it was time to change that so now it’s “what candy are you?” – the results were really funny! Can […]

Gmail is USUALLY so cool

24 February 2006 by kristarella

Last night I couldn’t access gmail at all. I thought “This is crap!” but I also thought “Hmmm, maybe they are finally updating my account so that I, a faithful user for about a year and a half now, finally has those cool new things like assigning contact groups and having google chat right there […]

Julie and Julia

23 February 2006 by kristarella

Anita wrote a review of this book, Julie & Julia: 365 days, 524 recipes, 1 tiny apartment kitchen on her book blog. Now I really want to read it. You can read an excerpt of it on Amazon, it seems like just the kind of book I would really enjoy. A nice relief from the […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
