Overseas again

30 May 2006 by kristarella

Hehe, I just got another call from those stupid phone people. This is the fourth call in less than two days and the second one I’ve picked up. *bust* He said “How are you?” I said “I’ve been better.” He said “Oh, that’s great.” Really, is it? I would have thought it would be great […]

Mixed feelings of all kinds

29 May 2006 by kristarella

This morning was an excellent morning. I caught a train one later than the one I usually get because I decided two minutes before I usually leave that I wanted to update my iPod. I must have had excellent sleep last night because despite being sick I felt quite good. I saw Cath, who I […]

OVERSEAS

29 May 2006 by kristarella

OVERSEAS. That’s what my phone displays when I get home from uni or work and someone has called to sell me something. I should know better than to pick the phone up when it shows up and I’m actually home. You’d think that the instinctual relief I feel when I see that number on the […]

The hills are alive…

27 May 2006 by kristarella

Wow! Today I did a few uncharacteristic things. I tidied my desk. It’s not perfect but it is much better. This action was precipitated by the computer speakers not working so I got hubby to check them out, he had to wade through my desk to do so. He took them apart and discovered that […]

27 May 2006 by kristarella

Thursday night I was sooo tired, I thought I wouldn’t be able to go to work on Friday. I must have had an excellent sleep though because I felt fine when I woke up. One the way to work I started to feel pretty crap and I think I may have a virus because I […]

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
