I just wanted to publicly thank some excellent people that have helped make blogging and other online activities a joy.

Creative Curio – best print design resource

Within a year, LaurenMarie has created an amazing resource on Photoshop, print design (including info on In Design) and has been teaching us the elements and principles of design. Her website Creative Curio is a great community.

LaurenMarie was a huge help when I redesigned my site, finding bugs and even roping Jerrol in to help fix them!

David Airey – best logo design

David is a pioneer in educating people (including potential customers) on logo design. His own blog, davidairey.com, has excellent examples of his work as well as useful design resources. His new blog Logo Design Love has also become an instant success.

It’s always nice to get comments and advice from David; he’s always thoughtful and considerate.

JChromatic - great web design

I haven’t “known” Gio for very long, but he always brings energy to a conversation, whether it be commenting or twittering. Thanks Gio!

Mathew Packer – web and music guru

Matt seems to be the web guru: he manages a bunch of sites, including his pink-loving wife’s blog (congratulations on getting married!), and I’m with the band. He’s into photography (yay!) and the Newcastle music scene. He also scored some free passes to the Forbidden Kingdom, and was kind enough to give me some, as well as offer some music related advice.

Thanks for your generosity Matt!

CSS Collection

I also want to thank CSS Collection for the opportunity to win a copy of Website Optimization… and actually winning it! (I very rarely win!)

Pelf

Pelf from pelf-ism is contagious. Thanks for all your comments on the blog and thank you especially for blogging and sharing your traineeship in America with us. It’s been awesome to learn about the terrapins!

Everyone

Thanks for reading everyone!

I subscribe to lots of blogs (and read them all). So, I hope that if you’re a reader here, I read your blog and comment too. If not, please leave a link to your blog in the comments and I will come over and hang out for a bit!

I second that “awww.” What a nice way to start the day! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you better these past few months. I’m so glad you started our friendship with some comments on my blog! And then your oh-so-interesting 100 Things About Me prompted me to contact you (another chick online who likes Stargate?? How could I resist?!). I’ve very much enjoyed our talks about God, too.

And you won something from CC, too! You’re just a lucky duck this week, aren’t you?

Thanks so much, Kris! You’re very kind with your words, and it’s great of you to make me smile today.

    I hope you’re having a good one.

Hi Kris, that’s a great gesture. You clearly have a very loyal following on your blog and that’s a great thing to have.

I know you’ve commented on my blog, but I haven’t seen you there for a while – are you lurking? 😉

Yay! Thanks for the mention, Kris! I don’t think that’s happened yet so this is special. I was quite pleased to open my reader today, lol. 🙂 Here’s to hoping for a good, long friendship

Lauren, yep! Maybe my luck is changing…

I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
