A Pocketful of Sequins

5 October 2007 by kristarella

Pocketful of Sequins

A Pocketful of Sequins is a book published by a collaboration of the National Breast Cancer Centre, National Breast Cancer Foundation and Breast Cancer Network Australia and Moonstone Media. It’s a collections of poems, quotes and musings from people who have had Breast Cancer and families who have been affected by it.

It costs AU$24.95 ($19.95 + $5 p&h). $15 of that goes to research, education and support initiatives.

Mum mentioned that it was a great help to her to read things by other’s that had been through what she was going through. This book seems digestible, yet inspiring. It would be a lovely gift for someone you know is sick, or a family who has lost someone, or for yourself. 😉
