Sorry if you’ve tried to visit my blog in the last few hours. I began to upgrade to WP2.3 and went about it the wrong way.
I didn’t finish the upload before I came home, then it didn’t finish properly, then a plugin was causing an error… no, I didn’t disable all the plugins first. Should I have? Absolutely! I was lulled into a false sense of security by the last two updates that were seamless. 2.3 is a large change and I’ve lost the similar posts and enhanced links plugins and custom smileys only half works. 🙁
My husband pointed out to me that I should have uploaded the files to a new folder and then moved it over – now I know!
