I went to the postdoc office looking for Matt. He wasn’t there, but the guy who was later told him a girl with an American accent was looking for him. I don’t have an American accent… I don’t have a thick Australian one either, but perhaps I’d better watch my ‘r’s.
I can’t find the things that I’m supposed to be working on. I’ve spent much time rummaging in the -80’C freezer, afraid that I’m going to get cold-burns on my fingers, all to no avail.

I saw some school girls fighting at the shopping centre on Monday. Literally fighting, they were yelling at each other and then they started punching each other and pulling hair. They looked like fools. It made me glad to not be in high school anymore. I also wanted to get them off each other and tell them how stupid they were being, but I’m sure they wouldn’t have cared what I had to say.
I have a large assignment for which the first draft is due in three weeks. I’ve had plenty of time to research it this week, but we haven’t even received the topic yet. We’re supposed to be getting the topics in week 1, but I guess for this co-ordinator that probably means next week… late next week.
