Feed Reading

23 June 2007 by kristarella

rss

Yesterday I culled the feeds that I’m subscribed to. I just couldn’t stand (any longer) how new posts were building up and I wasn’t reading them. Many of you won’t even notice that I’m not reading your blog through Vienna anymore because even when I was subscribed I don’t know that I was reading your blog regularly anyway. There was also a surprising number of sites that I was subscribed to that haven’t been updated in a really long time.

I’ve decided that I write for me. Putting my thoughts down on paperscreen is okay if people want to know what’s happening with me, otherwise who cares? If I write reviews or what not for others and they’re interested in what I have to say then they will read it, if not I’ll just keep writing for me.

In that same way I will read the blogs I’m still subscribed to. Some of them are my friends and I want to know what’s going on with them. Some of them are photoblogs with really inspiring photography. Others are about computers or design with good tutorials and tips.

Maybe now I’ll be able to keep up! 😛
