Bloody Medical Centres

27 June 2007 by kristarella

I just spent over two hours waiting to see a doctor. All I wanted to do was get a repeat prescription and I wasn’t organised enough to make an appointment with my regular doctor.
The afternoon is over and I only got the supermarket shopping and one load of dishes done. I’d hoped to at least tidy up my uni notes. I suppose I still can since hubby is sleeping.
When I arrived at the medical centre I asked how long the wait was, expecting an hour. She said “not long…” and that there was one person in there now and one after that, then me. That didn’t include all the people with appointments. I could have done something useful during that time if I’d known I’d be there for over an hour, let alone over two. Damn it.
