Things have started to feel pretty crazy. After all the family stuff on the weekend (which was very nice, but prevented us from doing dishes and washing and all that), I got a bit sick and didn’t do the supermarket shopping. Now I’m back at uni and I’m trying to be diligent and do some work, but then I get distracted by classes or by paid work, or by the things that I would rather be doing… One of the things I’d rather be doing is reading about archaea. Why can’t I be as interested in Lactococci? I guess they’re interesting too, my attention is just very divided.
To top off the crazed feeling I spilt my lunch on my shirt and it’s way warmer than it was supposed to be so I can’t hide it with my jacket. Well, except to hold my jacket against my chest when I’m carrying it. 😛
I’m doing a mini project for one of my classes, Molecular Biology of Nucleic Acids. I start tomorrow. Until an hour ago I had no idea who my supervisor was! I had been trying to catch her in her office or on the phone. I finally met her today before she went in to lecture and the girl I’m doing the project with introduced me. They are both really nice so I think this is going to be good.
Hehe, I changed a Wikipedia page. It was the Lactase page. I just deleted a part of a sentence that was a somewhat erroneous and possibly misleading statement. It had a reference, but that reference didn’t indicate what the sentence said and I think it was misinterpreted.
I can’t believe it, there’s another WordPress update! I realise it’s exciting for some, but to be honest I’m kind of tired of updating my site. It’s a bit manual, having to delete all the files and then upload these ones, and making sure I have all the files that I’ve modified… ugh.
