Sunday Night

14 May 2007 by kristarella

Watching Buffy, the final episode of season 4, I have realised something that I never have before. Funny, since I’ve seen it so many times.
The final slayer comes to kill them in their dreams because of a spell they cast, invocing the slayer’s power. I thought that the first slayer just ripped out all of their hearts because that’s how she killed demons when she was alive. I was wrong. She actually sucks Willow’s spirit because for the magic spell to defeat Adam she was the spirit, Xander was the heart and had his heart torn out, Giles was the mind and his scalp is cut, Buffy was the hand. I suppose it sounds a bit gross if you haven’t seen it, but it’s really quite intriguing.

green applesilver appleWhy am I watching Buffy today? Well, last night was great. We had church and then we went out and I had White Chocolate Creme Brulee, then we went to see 28 Weeks Later. It was great, that is until I was going to sleep and got the most awful pain in my stomach. I thought I was going to throw up, it turned out being a different kind of gastro. So that kept us up for a while and then my tummy was oogly today. So I stayed home with the very best intentions of studying. I did a little bit of studying, but also some Blending, I finished an apple I was modelling, and we played a bit of Wii.

I enjoyed 28 Weeks Later. It was fairly similar to 28 Days Later, just a slight twist on the previous story line. I enjoyed it though. There was good suspense and shock value. I hope they’re not planning to do a third one though, there’s only so far you should go in the same story line.

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
