It’s a little bit funny… not this feeling inside, but these emails I keep getting.
A couple of weeks ago my cousin must have joined Facebook and invited me as a “friend”. I’m not sure exactly because I haven’t let it into my email, but I think it scans your address book and invites people as friends. So I joined because I didn’t want to ignore her. Since then I’ve received four other emails asking me to be a friend. I know all the people so I’m not weirded out by them, I’m mainly weirded out by how many people are on this thing and I’m kind of wondering what the point is.
I think you can actually share photos and calendars and things through it. At this point I don’t feel motivated to upload things to another website. I used to upload photos to Flickr, I haven’t done that in a while, it’s been effort enough keeping up with my photoblog. Now I have a Deviant Art account and I’m gradually building a bit of a gallery as well as finding some cool artworks by other people. Not to mention this blog, my blog reading and commenting, PhotographyCorner.com and whatever else I’m signed up to.
