Around the corner

22 April 2007 by kristarella

The scouts and marching band and all those types are out practicing for the ANZAC Day march, reminding us that it’s on Wednesday. They seem to be further down the street so I can’t get any photos, unless I want to change out of my pyjamas and I don’t feel like it, this is the first good sleep in I’ve had for weeks.
I’m glad they’re practicing now and not three hours ago like last year! If I’m really motivated I could get up at dawn on Wednesday to take photos, I haven’t been to the dawn service for years. Hubby’s apathy towards ceremonies and formalities has been a bad influence on me… I can still remember here, one doesn’t have to get up at 4am to pay their respects. Watch out on Wednesday for some remembering.
