😥 I was too sick to go to my karate grading yesterday. We went to church in the morning for Liam’s baptism. I listened to most of the sermon but I’m pretty sure I fell asleep during it as well. I felt really refreshed afterwards so when I was getting really tired in the afternoon I thought a nap would set me straight for karate but I felt worse. It was very sad when I told hubby I couldn’t go to the grading.
🙂 Since we’d already been to church and I wasn’t well we decided to miss evening church and go straight to dinner at FIL’s. It was much more pleasant than rushing their after church. The meal was really yummy too.
🙂 At church I got to hold Oliver for the first time! I really hope I didn’t give him my cold, I hope his immune system is as big as he is. 😛 He looks like Hiro from Heroes at the moment, big round cheeks and a little mouth. He’s very cool, he’s been feeding from a bottle because he eats so much so I got to feed him as well.
:angry: The lecturer forgot what time the lecture was on today and he arrived 20 minutes late. It was lucky for us he got there when he did because we were about to leave. Unlucky for others because they left after 15 minutes. Then at the end of the lecture it was two minutes to twelve (they’re supposed to finish at five to) and he said “What time do you make it? Well, we’ll do a couple more slides.” The next lecturer was pretty annoyed. It was poor form.
🙂 I’m feeling better today than yesterday! My nose is still yucky and my voice is funny but I can walk around without feeling dizzy.
