Gosh Darn It!

My watch is lost/stolen. I was in the library yesterday using my laptop and I often take my watch of because it rubs across my laptop next to the touchpad. I put it next to me in my chair and I forgot it when I left. I went straight back for it when I’d realised, it must have been only five minutes since I left and it was gone. There was a girl sitting in the chair, I’m sure she didn’t take it, she had only just gotten there so I don’t think anyone else had sat in the chair. I just called lost property at the uni and it hasn’t been handed in. 🙁
At least it wasn’t new, it’s six years old. Given that it’s lasted pretty well I looked up Rip Curl watches. They’re even more expensive than they used to be! I think mine was $150 when I got it. Now the one I’d want is about $400! There is another one that would be good for $200, the $400 one has other little dials whereas the $200 one is just a plain watch face.
I really didn’t need to leave my watch behind, it’s very frustrating!
