The internet is sooo slow (we went over quota again – luck we’re upgrading our plan), I’m reposting this because I think it timed out the first time.
Last night I nearly changed a tyre. I saw “nearly” because I know how to do it, I got the spare out and the tools, just as I got the cover off the alloy wheel some men came along asking if we needed help. I let them do most of the rest, I’m not really sure about jacks – they’re different on each car. I also hadn’t tried the nuts yet to see if I could loosen them. I managed to lift the spare out of the back and put the flat in the back for the way home (it wasn’t my car or my fault so I don’t need to worry about fixing it). I got quite dirty and the whole process was quite quick so I count it as a win. I hope Gerry didn’t get in trouble with her mum for blowing the tyre, and I hope the wheel is okay.
