GIMPing

23 February 2007 by kristarella

I made a new desktop today, I’m not posting it yet because I’m not sure if I like it. I also need to fix it – it has a fuzzy border around the edge but Macs have the toolbar at the top of the screen, which cuts off the top of the background, cutting off the border and making the whole thing look a bit silly. I tried to look for a way to make that toolbar semi-transparent, similar to Gnome (Ubuntu) but I don’t think it’s possible without another program that adds themes to OS X. I don’t want to go crazy with it… I could just add some extra space to the top of the picture.
