Last night was pretty sweet. We went to the 21st at Hornsby Bowls at about 4:20pm. It had started raining right on 4 o’clock, when the party was supposed to start, but it cleared up and we were allowed to bowl. It was good fun. I wasn’t as bad as I thought I would be. In fact, I was alright at it.
At about 7 (right before the speeches 🙁 ) I left to get changed for the engagement party. I’d gotten my dress dry cleaned but it was way too cold to wear it. The party was nice and we got to catch up with some people from school. There was a profiterole and toffee tower as the cake, I’m sure it has a name that sounds like cro-ken-bush but I can’t find a spelling for it. They also had meringues with cream and fruit that were fantastic!
Today we’re watching Office Space, such a funny movie! We played a game of Pioneers earlier. I kicked butt!
