So right yet so wrong

Everything this weekend is nearly great but end up being average or crap.

We spent Saturday watching movies and doing generally relaxing things. Until 6:30pm when it was coming up for dinner time and I didn’t have anything to cook. We went to the supermarket, which was probably the most successful supermarket trip we’ve had together. When we got home hubby was putting things away in the fridge and asked “Where’s the milk?” I said I didn’t know but asked where half of my ingredients for dinner were as well… cream, bacon. He went back to look for the missing bag. It was at the register where we paid. He said he remembered picking up the last bag while the woman asked if I wanted cash out and guessed she must have left the bag hanging up during that process. I’m just glad it was him and not me who left the bag behind!
We also forgot to buy gumballs, which I was supposed to do for about a week now.

I was cooking Fettuccine Carbonara. It was fairly easy and worked out great except for some ends of pasta that stuck together and wouldn’t come unstuck. I don’t understand cooking that stuff, I don’t have a saucepan that tall so I have to wait until the ends are soft and push the rest down, only then can I stir it all so that it doesn’t stick. By which time it’s obviously already stuck. Stupid pasta! Then there wasn’t enough and hubby had to eat some chips 🙁

I thought I’d gotten Mags’ site pretty much right but it keeps going wrong. Dammit! We’re also in different time zones so we’re sleeping at different times and can’t fix it.

Photobucket is having a freakin’ heart attack, it won’t go to my albums. It knows I’m signed in but when I used my bookmark to get to my albums it said the page wasn’t there. Huh? How can the bloody page not be there? If it’s deleted my albums I’m going to be royally pissed off.

Today I have to re-string my guitar and clean it up, then we have band at church. :tired: Don’t exactly feel like those things today… my head’s spinning, I think I need some food.
